Stephen Atkinson is Senior Vice President, Risk Management, at Marsh Canada Ltd. He primarily works with large financial institutions, helping them make informed decisions about risk management and transfer options, primarily through the use of specialty property & casualty insurance products and ancillary consulting services. He also serves as national strategic development leader for Marsh’s Consumer & Commercial segment in Canada – a role which includes strategic & operational planning, change management, and defining the organization’s digitization strategy.
Stephen is also the co-founder of Avant-Garde @ CIRANO, a tuition-free leadership development seminar focused on helping emerging leaders in Montréal develop the critical thinking skills and competencies required to navigate an increasingly complex world, while connecting action-oriented peers across socio-economic, linguistic & industry lines.
